Dear Franklin at Alma families,

Welcome back from winter break and the first day of the second semester. We are excited to have the students back on campus and to continue teaching them new skills and concepts.

FPO Meeting

Please join us for the monthly Franklin Parent Organization (FPO) meeting on Tuesday, January 4th at 6:00pm in the library.

School Survey – Due by 1/12/22

Please complete the following survey to indicate if your child will be returning to Franklin at Alma next year or if you have a child who will be starting kindergarten next year.

Water Bottles

Please remember to send your child to school each day with a water bottle. Students can refill their water bottles at the drinking fountains. If your child forgets to bring a water bottle, they can get a disposable water bottle from the office. Our stock of water bottles is running low. If you are able to donate a case of water bottles, please complete this survey: Water Bottles Donation

ECA Donation

Are you getting ready to complete your tax forms for 2021? There is still time to make an ECA donation to Franklin at Alma and perhaps receive a credit on your tax return.

The state tax credit is available to ALL qualifying individual Arizona state taxpayers. You do not need to have a child enrolled in a school to take advantage of this state tax credit. It is always best to consult a tax adviser to see if you qualify for the dollar-for-dollar credit.

A tax credit is different from a deduction, because you may subtract the whole contribution from your Arizona state tax bill. An individual may contribute as much as $200, and a couple filing jointly may contribute as much as $400 to a public school and receive the money back in the form of a tax credit.
